The library will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  Open regular hours, 9am-5pm, on Saturday, Jan. 18.

The library will be closed on Monday, May 26, for Memorial Day. The library will be open regular hours on Saturday, May 24.

The library will be closed Monday, Apr. 21, in observance of Patriots' Day.  Open regular hours, 9 am - 5 pm, on Saturday, Apr. 19.

Summer Hours: June 16 to Labor Day -- Monday-Thursday 9 am-8 pm; Friday 9 am-5 pm; closed on Saturdays. 

The library will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

The library will be closed Monday, Oct. 13, in observance of Columbus Day. Open regular hours, 9 am-5 pm, on Saturday, Oct. 11.

The library will be closed Monday, Feb. 17, in observance of Washington's Birthday (Presidents' Day).  Open regular hours, 9 am - 5 pm, on Saturday, Feb. 15.

All non-emergency municipal offices, including the library, will be closed Tuesday, February 13th, due to the impending snowstorm.

Public computers and printing services in Reference Dept. will not be available for up to two weeks during the library's technology upgrade with BELD. Tentative dates are 3/10-3/21. Please feel free to call ahead at 781-848-0405, or email reference@braintree.ocln.org.

The library will close at 5 pm on Thursday, July 3rd, and be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

Thayer Public Library is expected to be temporarily closed Tuesday, July 8 and Wednesday, July 9, for repairs to the HVAC system. Dates are subject to change. Upper Level will be closed June 30 - July 7, including Children’s Room, auditorium, and conference rooms. Holds and some children’s services will be available on Main Level. We apologize for any inconvenience.

In observance of Labor Day, the Library will be closed on Monday, September 1st. 

Library hours will be 9 am to 12 pm on Tuesday,  Dec. 31 (New Year's Eve). The library will be closed all day on Wednesday, Jan. 1.

The library will be closed all day on Wednesday, September 17 for staff development and training.

Regular hours resume after Labor Day: Monday-Thursday, 9 AM - 9 PM; Friday & Saturday, 9 AM - 5 PM.
