Open 9AM-5PM on Wednesday, Nov. 26. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27, through Saturday, Nov. 29.
Regular hours, 9 am-9 pm, will resume Monday, December 2.

The library will be closed on Monday, May 31, for Memorial Day. The library will be open regular hours on Saturday, May 29, 9 am - 5 pm.

The library will be closed Monday, Apr. 19, in observance of Patriots' Day.  Open regular hours on Saturday, Apr. 17, 9 am - 5 pm.

The library will be closed Friday, June 18, and Saturday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. 

The library will be closed Monday, Oct. 13, in observance of Columbus Day. Open regular hours, 9 am-5 pm, on Saturday, Oct. 11.

The library will be closed Monday, Feb. 15, in observance of Presidents' Day.  Open regular hours on Saturday, Feb. 13, 9 am - 5 pm.

Public computers and printing services in Reference Dept. will not be available for up to two weeks during the library's technology upgrade with BELD. Tentative dates are 3/10-3/21. Please feel free to call ahead at 781-848-0405, or email reference@braintree.ocln.org.

The library will be closed all day on Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day.
The library is back on regular hours starting after Labor Day: Monday-Thursday, 9AM - 9PM; Friday & Saturday, 9AM - 5PM. 

The library will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day. Closed on Saturdays for the summer.

The library has returned to regular hours: Monday-Thursday, 9AM - 9PM; Friday & Saturday, 9AM - 5PM. 

Thanks to the Friends of the Library for the N.E. Aquarium Summer Pass -- Pass is valid for weekdays only! 

Reserve Pass

Library hours will be 9 am to 12 pm on Wednesday,  Dec. 24. The library will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day).

Summer Hours through Labor Day -- Monday-Thursday 9 am-8 pm; Friday 9 am-5 pm. Closed on Saturdays through Sept. 5.

Thayer Public Library, will be opening with regular hours on Tuesday, January 27th, 9 am-9 pm.

Library hours will be 9 am to 12 pm on Thursday,  Dec. 31. The library will be closed on Friday, Jan. 1, 2027.

The library will be closed on Wednesday, September 17 for in-service staff development and training.
