The Library on Your Tablet

Do you love your tablet, but hate paying for additional content?

With your Thayer Public library card you have free access to some of the latest books and magazines for your tablet -- and some for your smart phone and home computer, too! In this workshop you'll learn about the library's free apps for ebooks, music, newspapers, magazines, and lots more. The program will be geared for iPads, but there will be information on apps for all types of tablets. Take a look at some of the best free apps to make your life more organized, or just more fun. Bring your tablet and sign on information for the App Store or Google Play and see what else the library has to offer. Some apps may be available for Nook tablets and Kindle Fire as well. Please remember, these apps will not work on devices that are strictly ereaders.
